Governance of TARO
Charge: Look at peer systems’ governance structures, report and discuss with Steering Committee, then propose a formal board structure for TARO.

Tasks related to 2015-2016 planning grant:
- Update strategic plan (draft) and mission statement for TARO and draft bylaws (draft).
- Draft guidelines for participation in Steering Committee and working groups (e.g., nominations process, length of terms).
- Consider the use of fixed-length terms to encourage broader geographic and institutional representation.
- Investigate the possible role of a TARO advisory council comprised of scholars, educators, and other archives users.
